Bronze harness mount in the shape of a griffin

A bronze harness mount in the shape of a stylised griffin in profile, decorated with a long curled beak and an incised crest. The reverse with a vertical loop.

Literature: A very similar example of the stylised griffin can be seen in the Metropolitan Museum, New York, (2002.201.194).
