Ancient Egyptian necklace consisting of eight (8) Roman mosaic faceted tubular glass beads (2.5 cm long), most have red ground and floral band of blue, white, red & 1 central cowrie shaped jasper pendant (1.9 cm long) interspersed with 16 small jasper beads & 8 hollow gold spacer beads & a newer gold clasp at each end

Provenance: Acquired in Egypt by Goddard Du Bois and Josephine Cook Du Bois, New York, between 1901-1907
