Watercolour over pencil on paper of a temple partially hidden in the sand with a male in Egyptian dress seated on a monumental stone lintel, in the background a male in European dress walks across a stone beam towards an entry in a pylon, a landscape of fields and purple mountains with the Nile between, signed in the bottom left  R. Phené 5 July (?), the mount inscribed 'Temple of Wady Saboua'.
